Trinity River Christmas Bird Count

We will be counting birds while paddling 19.5 miles of the Trinity River mainstem, from Romayor to SH 105, east of Cleveland.  Note that this trip may be cancelled due to high water if the gauge at Romayor is in excess of 17 feet. 

 

Skill Level:  Novice.  Generally flat water, but long, and requiring the ability to look at birds, while managing your boat.

Houston Canoe Club events require a current signed waiver for all HCC members. ACA members who are not HCC members are welcome to join us so long as they are card-carrying members of ACA and sign a waiver. Non-HCC and non-ACA members will be required to sign a waiver and pay a $5 fee to cover insurance for the event
