This is a 24.5 mile paddle on the main channel of the Brazos River.  This is not race training.  We intend to take our time and look at sand bars, poke bottom strata and examine mussel shells.  We will also be looking at the shoreline to be impacted by the proposed Dow off-channel reservoir project, about 12.5 miles down.  I will let you know if we are meeting at the top or bottom once I know how many people are coming.

Skill Level:  The paddling is Novice level.  The put in and take out will be steep and likely muddy.
