Colorado River, Columbus to Altair

This is a roughly 27 -mile paddle on the Colorado River, including the Columbus Loop, and terminating at the Alt. 90 crossing near Altair.  This section is pretty much hazard free, with some constrained places where the river flows a little faster.  The water levels should be above median still, with temperatures of around 90 and a slight chance for rain.  For those who are keeping score, this will connect the dots now from Bastrop to Glen Flora, roughly 150 miles.

Skill Level:  Novice.  Generally flat water, but it’s fairly long for a day trip.

Meet at
Alt 90 Bridge on the Colorado, east of Altair- ramp is on the east side.
