UPDATE:

It's gonna be HOT!
Actual temperatures 92degF dropping all the way to 82degF from 6-10 PM
"Feels Like" temperature 99degF decreasing to 89degF
Wind at 5-6 MPH from the SSE during our paddling time from 6-8PM

Suggestions based on above conditions:
Bring cold water, cold refreshments, and a cold dinner
Bring a towel or cooling bandana you can dip in the water to refresh yourself

IMPORTANT NOTE:

I will be attending a funeral that starts at 2:00PM, and will hopefully still be able to make it on time, but if not, please get on the water with Harmon as designated associate trip coordinator, go out the channel and turn right as the lake opens up, continuing counter-clockwise, and I will catch up with you when I can.

NOTE: a meetup group (Kayaking in Houston) is scheduled to arrive at the same spot around 6:30, so don't get confused.
