The Artist Boat organization in Galveston is looking for volunteers to help with this event:

COME BE A VOLUNTEER AT THIS GREAT EVENT ON JUNE 8th at STEWART BEACH
GALVESTON, TX

Hosted by Artist Boat from 10am – 6pm on Saturday, June 8th. We are looking for volunteers to help with a paddle pool that is being donated by Southwest Paddle Sports.

Volunteer shifts are 2 hrs. each, free parking and free lunch is included.

Shift 1 is from 10am – 12 noon, 4 people in pool to assist with the kayaks and 1 person on land to help control the line of people and keeping track of time each group is in the water. Total of 5 volunteers for each shift.

Shift 2 is from 12 noon, - 2pm – need 5 volunteers
Shift 3 is from 2pm – 4pm – need 5 volunteers
Shift 4 is from 4pm – 6pm – need 5 volunteers

We also need 6 volunteers to help tear down pool at the end of the day from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
