General Membership Meeting
November 9th, 2016
Bayland Park Community Center
Recorder: Frank Ohrt
7:00

The Commodore called the meeting to order. She mentioned the pre-meeting dinner at Café Piquet, and invited all members to attend the pre- and post-meeting dinners. She then introduced the club officers.

7:04

The Commodore gave the floor to Christy Long, who presented the list of candidates for club officers for the coming year. She described the duties of the various positions, and asked for any other nominees. After a decent interval of silence, it was moved and seconded that the entire slate of nominees be accepted as offered. Such was done, and everyone not on the list let out a sigh of relief. Once and future officers were uniformly praised.

7:12

The Commodore announced the Holiday Party one last time.

7:14

Ms. Long gave the Safety Minute, on proper fit and use of PFDs.

7:26

The Commodore gave the Purser’s report. The club is $95 ahead of the projected budget for the year.
