Speaker:    Glen Kilgore
Description:

“Snakes: Love ‘Em and Leave ‘Em – ALONE!” is the title of our talk at HCC’s July 8, 2015 meeting.

Glen Kilgore, amateur naturalist and long-time volunteer at Brazos Bend State Park, will tell us all we want to know about snakes: what they eat, how they move, how they hunt, how to avoid being bitten, what to do if you are bitten, and more. We’ll learn about the particular snakes we’re likely to encounter when we’re paddling or hiking in this area.

There will be plenty of slides, and I’m sure he’ll share some fun anecdotes, too.

Glen and his wife, Maureen, will also join us for dinner before the meeting. You can meet and converse with him about snakes then, too. Watch your Forum email for the location of our pre-meeting dinner.

We look forward to seeing you on July 8th!

Be sure to set this date aside on your calendar, then come out and support your club.

Vice Commodore,
Honey Leveen
