The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has received a proposal to build four dams on the Little Colorado River, just outside Grand Canyon National Park. If approved, they will devastate the river. Public comments will be accepted until November 22. The process is a bit cumbersome, but expressing our opposition is how these things get stopped.
Please register your opposition through American Whitewater's website, using this link. It might take 10 minutes to help save this pristine river.
