Since we were effectively frozen out on the Old River CBC, and since I hate to think of wasting a form, I am relisting the trip as a paddle, with casual birding as we go. If I read the rules right, birds might still count as count week findings. Just use the same registration procedure. It's a nice paddle through sheltered waters. Distance is 14 -17 miles, depending on side trips.

The trip is for this coming Saturday, January 6 and is posted on the HCC Event Calendar. You can sign up online. Should be a nice day to get out and paddle.
