The (Brazosport) Facts had an editorial today calling for the permanent ban of commercial oystering in Christmas Bay. It quotes Bruce Bodson about it. I  have kept a copy of it. Locals did not like having their boat ramps blocked and bay torn up by the commercial oyster folks.

Representative Bonnen sent a facebook post that HB51 improving the regulation of the oyster industry passed and is headed to the governor for signature.
