We will make a pleasant run down the Brazos, from FM 1462 to SH 35, on Saturday February 1. The distance is just over 25 miles (25.27 last time we did it). The put in and take out are steep, even by Brazos Standards, especially the take out.
There are no unusual hazards on this stretch of the river. It is a bit wider and slower flowing, and there is the potential for wind to make it challenging. Other than that, it is a pleasant cruise.
This trip is on the calendar. Please register if you are interested in attending and getting over a quarter of your 100 miles knocked out early.
