For those thinking about going, there is the possibility of putting in at the North Shore Park. Plenty of parking, boat ramps right down to the water, and the parking stays open until 11 pm. The option of putting in at the boat shed near the pavilion, you have to drag your boat across the parking lot, and then down a grassy slope to the water. And then after the event, drag your boat back up the slope, find your car amid all the parking ruckus after the concert, and deal with all that stuff. I'm leaning toward Northshore park.

This Saturday, June 1, I am heading out to Lake Woodlands to paddle around a little and then sit in my kayak listening to the tunes of Jimmy Buffet, who will be playing that night in the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Please see the trip posting on the calendar and register if interested.
Best Regards,
Kent
