Time to start hitting the rivers for some nice full days! I'm planning on paddling the Garwood to Glen Flora route on the Colorado Saturday the 23rd. This scales at 26.2 miles, but usually seems to track at about 27.5, so call it 27 miles. It is south of I-10, , but north of 59, in Wharton County. This is usually an interesting route for mussels and fossils. It is in the Columbia Bottomlands, and has some interesting forested habitat along the way, so it may be pretty birdy at this time of year also.
