Brazos, 1462 to SH 35
Author Last Post
Bruce's trip has been moved to Sunday, May 20th, so still an opportunity for you to join if you would like to get your paddle on.  Contact Bruce to confirm.
I have a trip set up for tomorrow (Saturday May 19), that will go from FM 1462 to SH 35 on the Brazos.  The trip will be an all day affair, since the intention is to look over the river, check for potential good bottom strata for mussels, and view the habitat to be impacted by a proposed USACE permit.  The distance is roughly 25 miles.  There is an outside possibility I may still get permission for us to take out a Brazos River Park, at the 16 mile mark, but we shouldn't count on it.

The put-in/take-out are going to be steep and likely muddy.  It is going to be warm.  The river is low, but there shouldn't be any real obstructions, boat dragging, or hazards.  I feel like I am writing copy for Arrogant Bastard Ale bottles.  if you get the reference, you're probably the right person for this trip. :)

Depending on the size of the expedition, I'll decide if meeting at the top or bottom makes the most sense and inform everyone.
