On one of the bird counts we paddled up it.  We put in at the old foot bridge over Peach Creek, came down to the head of the lake and then back up the East Fork to 1485 to take out.  This was well before Harvey, but there were quite a few shallow pull-overs, though no real issues.

Hi guys and gals,

New member here.  I live in Kingwood so I mainly paddle the San Jacinto River /  Lake Houston.  I'm looking to paddle the East Fork of the San Jacinto River from FM1485 down to Lake Houston. I've read though all the trips logs I can find and all I can find is trip details paddling Peach and New Caney Creeks (I've also already paddled this). Anybody done this paddle and was it pre or post Harvey.  Thanks in advance.

Josh
