This month, our own Christy Long will teach us all about expedition paddling and how to pack your canoe for a multi-day, self-supported trip.
Christy is a greatly admired, devoted, long-time HCC member. She's served on our board as Recorder and Commodore and has headed our nominating committee for the past 5 years. She is a highly experienced paddler who started out car camping so she could paddle several days in a row. When she joined HCC, she discovered expedition paddling, and a whole new experience opened up for her. Her presentation should be very enjoyable.

We have a new pizzeria in Bellaire, very close to Bayland Community Center. It's Called Fuzzy's Pizza, at 5301-B Bissonnet. https://www.fuzzyspizzas.com/ Let's try it out together! Perhaps you can share a pizza with someone; they have about 20 different types. If not, they also offer pasta dinners, baked sandwiches, regular sandwiches, salads and desserts. Prices are reasonable.They're BYOB. Jim and I will bring wine - feel free to bring your own preferred beverage.
