The Texas Watershed Steward program is a free educational workshop designed to help watershed residents improve and protect their water resources by getting involved in local watershed protection and management activities. It will be held on February 8, 2018 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Don McLeod Recreation Center, 10717 Langston Drive, in Mont Belvieu, TX.
The workshop will provide an overview of water quality and watershed management in Texas, including a discussion on the Cedar Bayou watershed along with efforts by the Houston-Galveston Area Council and local residents to improve and protect it. Light refreshments will be provided.
