Up here in East Texas, among the lovely piney woods, we have a problem that can effect all of you outdoor enthusiastic- HYPOTHERMIA. If you are hiking,in a kayak or canoe, beware of your body core dropping below 95 degrees.Normal Temperature is 98 to 100 degrees. Had a senior and young child had to rushed to local hospital for this. Make sure these people are wrapped up while in cold weather ,even transporting them. Keep vehicles warm while riding in them. These people produce less body heat to sustain theirselves. HAPPY NEW YEAR AND PADDLING. !!!!
