Here's another ad hoc trip going up - going to do a trip from the TPWD boat ramp under I45 (north of the causeway to Galveston, Tiki Island exit) on Thursday. Open water of Jones Bay, sea kayaks recommended. Meet at the ramp 9:30 a.m., paddle out and back (8-10 miles RT). Please register online for trip. Usual rules with PFD and signed waivers, HCC/ACA membership required.
