Hey folks, the Safari participants are still paddling towards Seadrift, Texas. The link below will allow you to follow all the participants. It is pretty cool. The Facebook page will allow you to see the boaters.

This is a record year for the number of boats and paddlers. Seventeen have dropped, as of 5:00pm Sunday. The six-man boat number 150 paddled 231 miles and arrived at the 9th checkpoint, Swing Bridge (also called Victoria Port Authority and Invista) at 4:49 pm, Sunday. The cut off for this check point is 10:00 pm Tuesday.
With so many boats, people will be paddling until 1:00pm Wednesday, cut off for Seadrift. It is fun to watch this race through the trackers.
