Join the celebration on Thursday, June 8th from 4-7pm at Stewart Beach in Galveston
Come explore all the ways we are connected to our ocean with interactive activities hosted by over a dozen organizations. Activities will include marine animals in a touch tank, meeting ambassador zoo animals, creating artwork with the Sun's energy, music and comedy provided by Tom's Fun Band, and more! The Festival is great for ocean-lovers of all ages, so bring the whole family. What a wonderful way to spend a Thursday afternoon, celebrating the ocean on its doorstep! Also on display will be submissions to the Marine Debris Art Contest. Submitting an art piece? Don't forget that all submissions are due to the Artist Boat office by June 6th. The concession stand will be open for guests to purchase food, drinks, or snacks. The event is free, but Stewart Beach parking fees will apply.
