Thanks for the reply, it was very helpful. I'm especially glad to hear that you provide a shuttle service. My trip got delayed because life got in the way but I'll be sure to look you up when I reschedule.

Yes the Neches River can be paddled and camp on the sand banks." Not now" with rains I am having up here The water is out of the banks ,flowing thru the forest. Paul and I have paddled the upper many times. I now live only a few miles from HWY 294 out of Elkhart, Texas. Presently I own M and B Canoe/Kayak Rental and Shuttle service . You can leave your vehicle up at my place then I will shuttle you on various mileage trips. A vehicle left near a bridge is either stolen or picked for parts.
