The note on the front said canoe and kayak magazine had been discontinued with the Winter 2017 so I am now receiving SUP magazine. The SUP mag that was sent was Generation Next the Youth Issue which is not really something that would sell me on SUPs.I would sometimes surf long board in the 1960s and 1970s but that did not require standing up for very long because waves do not last that long. My present surfing involves kayaks both in ocean and river waves. The magazine did have some pictures of SUPs handling some good ocean and river waves. Back in 2013 when I was a co-team captain for a canoe in the Texas River Safari, I noticed that another contender finished the whole 264 miles on an SUP. BTW, the Old Guys Surf Reunion is May 7th in Surfside.
