Northshore Park May 20th 09:00am
Author Last Post
ATTENTION: Due to the closing of Northshore Park until September the launch site location has been changed for this event.

Riva Row Boat House has graciously excepted for the Houston Canoe Club to launch at their place at no charge.
Their only request is that we do not get in the way of their paying customers. I assured them that the Houston Canoe Club
would be very respectful of their paying customers. Please find the link here: https://www.thewoodlandstx.com/rivarowboathouse/

There are no other changes in this event.
David,

I have called The Woodlands Township.

Northshore Park closes at dusk.

The park remains closed until September due to construction in the area.
When the park opens in September the normal hours of the park remain unchanged.

Happy Paddling.........
Julie Hammond
David,

Northshore Park closes at dark, there is incorrect information posted on the website.

This is why paddlers are not using Northshore Park for concert venues.  If your car is locked in the park when the gates are closed and
locked, you are issued a ticket.

I will check again to see if this is summer hours only, but the information I have at this time is Northshore Park closes at dark.

Happy paddling.....Julie
David,

I will check to see if this is a recent change.  I know quite a few paddlers who say they can not use Northshore Park for the
concert venues due to the park closing at dark and their cars locked in the park and tickets issued.   Will advise update.
According to the web, Northshore Park is open from 6AM to 11 PM, each day.

There is also some construction going on there, now.

Fran and I are teaming up to lead a paddle on Northshore Park in the Woodlands May 20th.  Paperwork has been summited and as soon as the powers that be take a deep breath I am sure it will be posted. We know there is a race event that same weekend. If you are not racing you might want to come to Northshore Park in the Woodlands for this very relaxing day paddle.

You can pull up right next to the unloading area and once unloaded move your car to a parking spot in the same area.

Please bring a sack lunch and your own drinks.  There is plenty of parking.
Northshore park is the perfect place to try out that new boat and a perfect setting for SUP paddle boards.

Northshore Park has the following:
  1. BBQ pits
  2. Belt swings
  3. Bucket swings
  4. Drinking fountains
  5. Fishing
  6. Parking spaces
  7. Pavilions / Gazebos
  8. Picnic tables
  9. Play equipment for older children
  10. Play equipment for younger children
  11. Restrooms
  12. Volleyball courts
