On February 17th, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a Texas Watershed Steward workshop in La Marque. Water quality related to Highland Bayou, and watershed management in general (including topics regarding hydrology, water quality, water quality law, agricultural and urban best management practices, and others), will be discussed. The event and it’s available continuing education credits are free and open to the public. The professional continuing education credits offered are applicable to, but are not limited to, professional engineers, certified crop advisors, certified planers, landscape architects, professional geoscientists, Texas Department of Agriculture pesticide license holders, certified teachers, certified floodplain managers, and select TCEQ occupational license holders. Attached to this email is the PDF flyer for the event, which will take place from 8:00am to 12:00pm on Wednesday, February 17th at the Galveston County Extension office in La Marque. More information related to the event can be found in the attached documents and the links provided below, which will direct you to the registration page and CEU page. We hope to see you there!
